A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Manager to join a well established business, passionate about high quality food & service in the bustling picturesque town of Stockbridge. 

Job title: Operations Manager
Responsible to: Owner
Responsible for: Thyme &Tides Bistro Manager, Woodfire Manager & front of house staff
Salary: Based on level of experience
Hours per week: Full time (45) including weekends and the occasional evening

Overall responsibilities
Ensuring the smooth running of both sites (Thyme & Tides and Woodfire) whilst maintaining the highest standard of customer service and hygiene at all times and representing the values of Thyme & Tides.

Key tasks & responsibilities
Personnel management including hiring, training and discipline
Line Manage T&T Bistro Manager and Woodfire Manager
Staff rota is sufficient and coordinating staff holidays
Ensuring the correct levels of stock are maintained including, change and office consumables
Coordinating between the front of house & kitchen
Restaurant & staff presentation is upheld at all times
Updating our EPOS system with bistro & deli items
Customer emails and enquiries
Supporting the owners with any task relating to the bistro
Updating social media

Essential skills/Experience of:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Enthusiasm for the hospitality business
Experience working in a restaurant/hospitality industry at a senior level
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise & multi task
Willingness to take on a wide range of tasks
Computer literacy
Excellent time management skills
Managing, supervising and motivating staff

Desirable skills/Attributes:
Personal licence holder, training can be arranged
Experience organising events
Using E-Letter software such as Mail Chimp
Experience with social media including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
