Take a seat in our newly refurbished bistro area and savour fine foods and drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  Our bistro is open from 9am offering Monmouth Coffee, Char teas and a selection of croissants and pastries. We also have a  breakfast menu which includes hot bacon and sausage sandwiches, Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or a toasted teacake with butter and jam.

Stay with us for lunch where we will be serving light bites such as fish, meat and mezze sharing plates, traditional Ploughmans, seasonal salads, scallops with chorizo and piquillo peppers, soups, chowders and the popular deli sandwich.  These are all prepared onsite in our kitchen by our chef Nicholas and his dedicated team.  We are also making good use of having a fresh fish counter so expect to see lots of tasty fish dishes on our daily specials board too for example ~ Chef’s fishcakes with homemade tartare sauce, hake with clams and baked Cornish mackerel, roast vine tomatoes and aioli.

Our aim is simple – delicious home cooked food, locally sourced, seasonal and fresh!

We also have a great selection of wines from Caviste wine merchants, soft drinks or even a warming hot chocolate for you to enjoy. Also available are our chosen bottled beers and ciders.
