Our bright light and airy bistro offers casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the Summer months the front doors open to create an al fresco feel whilst our South facing courtyard garden has become a popular meeting spot amongst locals and dog walkers. The waters around the British Isles are home to an amazing variety of fish, shellfish, sea weeds and sea grasses, offering many wonderful tastes, colours, but most of all, a guarantee of healthy eating. At Thyme and Tides Ashley’s fish counter is traditionally laid out to reflect these products, with an emphasis on seasonality – mussels, sardines, sea trout and wild salmon to name just a few that he sources when the season dictates. He uses carefully selected suppliers to source our products, with the emphasis being on the small south coast day boat fleets, predominately using Looe in Cornwall, which constantly delivers sustainable, wonderful fresh fish, British weather permitting!more »
